Rembrandt Quiballo

Rembrandt Quiballo is a digital artist based in Phoenix, Arizona. Quiballo was born in the city of Manila in the Philippines, but social and political unrest would compel his family to leave the country, eventually immigrating to the United States. He earned his MFA in Photography from Arizona State University. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally including Albuquerque, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, Cairo and Berlin. Through the moving image, his work attempts to subvert the prevailing media apparatus by using components from film, television and the Internet to critique and construct new myths.
